How we produce EVA slides in 15 to 25 days without cutting corners
15 days. 20 days. Fast delivery.
Every factory says it. Most buyers have heard it enough times to know the number alone doesn't tell you much. The question worth asking is whether the factory can finish a few thousand pairs inside that window while every pair comes out the same as the one before it.
At Guangdong Chongdi, we plan the production before the raw material shows up. Here's what that looks like, step by step.
1. Lock down every detail before the machine turns on
Production doesn't begin when PVC goes into the mold. It begins when both sides agree on the spec and nothing is left to assume.
Our team confirms seven things before the first pair goes through:
- Size range
- Color codes
- Logo artwork
- Packing requirements
- Carton markings
- Quantity per size
- Shipping schedule
We learned a long time ago that most delays come from changes made after production has already started. Getting the spec locked early avoids that entirely.
2. Raw material prep
PVC compound is mixed to the formula the order calls for. Colors are batched separately so the shade stays the same from the first pair to the last.
Before anything moves to full production, we run trial samples and check five things:
- Color accuracy
- Material hardness
- Weight consistency
- Flexibility
- Surface finish
If the sample doesn't match, the material doesn't go forward. That's easier to fix now than after 1,800 pairs are done.
3. PVC injection molding
Once we're in production, every mold runs on a controlled cycle. Operators watch four parameters throughout the shift:
- Injection temperature
- Injection pressure
- Cooling time
- Mold condition
Keep these stable and you avoid the defects that cost you rework time later: flash, air bubbles, surface marks, uneven thickness, color drift. You don't have to be faster than the next factory. You just need fewer pairs that have to be redone.
4. Logo printing
For OEM orders, logos go on after molding. Depending on what the buyer wants, we use embossing, debossing, screen printing, or heat transfer.
Every batch gets checked against the approved artwork before it moves on. A logo that's 2mm off center is a defect even if the slipper itself is fine.
5. In-process QC
We don't wait until the end of production to check quality. Our QC team pulls samples throughout the run and inspects:
- Appearance
- Pair matching
- Weight
- Size accuracy
- Color consistency
- Surface quality
- Logo placement
If something is off, we adjust the line right then. Not after the batch is done. The difference between catching a drift at 200 pairs versus 1,800 is the difference between a small fix and a container full of problems.
6. Packing
Pairs that pass final inspection go to packing. We handle whatever the buyer spec'd: poly bags, hang tags, barcode stickers, color boxes, display cartons, or customer designed packaging.
Before sealing, we check each carton for correct size assortment, correct quantity, correct markings, and correct labels. Packing mistakes are cheap to fix at our dock and expensive to fix after the container lands.
7. Container loading
Cartons go into the container one by one. We check the container itself first: clean, dry, no holes. Then we load. Tight packing protects the cartons during transit and gets more pairs into the container, which matters when freight is one of your biggest costs.
Typical production timeline
| Stage | Time |
|---|---|
| Artwork confirmation | 1 to 2 days |
| Raw material preparation | 2 to 3 days |
| PVC injection molding | 7 to 10 days |
| Logo printing | 2 to 3 days |
| Quality inspection | 1 to 2 days |
| Packing | 2 to 3 days |
| Container loading | 1 day |
Why the process matters more than the promise
A lot of suppliers advertise short lead times. Not many can explain how they hit those numbers consistently. The importers who have been doing this a long time stop asking "how fast" and start asking "how." A factory that can walk you through the actual steps has a system. One that can't is hoping things work out.
15 to 25 days is not fast because we rush. It's fast because every stage is planned, every person knows what to check, and nobody waits until the end to find out something went wrong early.

Frequently asked questions
How long does OEM slipper production usually take?
Most standard orders finish within 15 to 25 days. Actual time depends on order size and what's in the production queue when your deposit arrives.
Can you print custom logos?
Yes. Embossing, debossing, screen printing, and heat transfer. We'll recommend which method works for your design.
Do you inspect every batch?
Every batch. In-process and before shipment. We track defect rate per order and share the number with the buyer.
Do you export internationally?
Yes. Most of our production goes to Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Container orders only.
